Patty’s Birthday

It was Patty’s birthday today! She turned 12. I did not feel like having her friends and whoever else over, maybe that will happen next birthday, but this one was for family. In attendance was Eddy, Patty, Michelle, Mom, Grandma, and myself. We decided to start the festivities around 6.

I decided to have a cookout, because there were so many people here. Eddy helped me clean off the tables and the chairs. It was a nice day to do so, because it did not rain. It felt as though it might, but we just had a cool breeze and some dark clouds. If it would have rained that would have ruined everything. I made hamburgers and cheese burgers. I made sure to have the lettuce, tomato, and onion. The kids usually refer to them as “Krabby Patties”, but I did not hear them say that today. I think they are getting ab it older. We had potato salad and chips as well. Everything was awesome and we all got our fill.

We went inside to have the birthday party, after we had cleaned everything up outside. While it had not rained on us yet I was not going to test fate by staying outside for it to rain. Cleaning up is always the hardest part after a cookout, because you have to carry everything back inside where it came from. All the kids helped though, so it was not really all that bad.

You can see the pictures of the birthday party on the pictures page, which I should really do something with, because otherwise I am probably going to start dividing that page up into years, so expect a line and “2008” and “2009” to appear. The pictures are all fantastic. Kristy and I took all of the pictures while everything was going on. I think they all came out pretty awesome.
