Same thing for Patty’s birthday, only for Eddy’s birthday. I’m not much for originality when it comes to birthdays. I like them to be good, easy, and fun. Everyone thinks that I am getting better at the whole cookout cooking thing, so that is good.

We had the cookout, and while the weather was threatening it did not rain. The temperature was around low 70’s and high 60’s for the day. It was a little windy too. I was concerned that we would have to cancel that part and move the whole thing inside, but that did not happen. It just makes it so much easier to clean up and move the party inside for the presents and cake.

Everyone showed up. Mom, Michelle, Patty, Grandma, and I all were there to celebrate the birthday. The presents went over well, everyone was pretty happy with how it all turned out, and I think if Eddy makes some friends at the new school next year we can maybe think about doing a birthday party with his friends.

Eddy is 11 now. I imagine it is only a matter of time before he is eating me out of house and home! I should start a pool on how tall he is going to end up. That would help me recoup some of the food costs.
