Patty’s birthday did come a little later this year than it should have, but even considering having to wait a little longer for the birthday it quite possibly could not have worked out as well as it did. First Patty invited two friends over for pizza and she opened her presents. She asked for all sorts of make up, hair products, and finally she got a gift certificate to Target and iTunes.

The next activity that was planned was going skating with two of her friends. There is also dancing at this particular skating rink. The skating rink is not far from here, it is in Springfield, and it goes from 7:30 till midnight. The girls all stayed until midnight. I picked them up, brought them back to the house for cake. They stayed for a sleepover and I retired to my room for the night satisfied that they would find something to entertain themselves.

The birthday went well. The girls maybe stayed up a bit later than they should, but what are you going to do. Patty has honestly wanted to have a sleep over for her birthday for a few years and it seems that something always goes wrong around her birthday.
