The problem was pretty simple, and it was part stupid and part something that comes with experience I guess.<\/p>\n<p>The stupid part was I wasn&#8217;t really following the directions well enough.  I was making the batter too runny and that was causing not only a mess for me to clean up, but also the waffles didn&#8217;t come out right at all.<\/p>\n<p>The second part was just timing.  I just needed to really get a feel for when I should pull them out.  I nailed it.
