{"id":31,"date":"2008-09-06T04:42:08","date_gmt":"2008-09-06T08:42:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manic.ath.cx\/?p=31"},"modified":"2008-09-06T04:42:08","modified_gmt":"2008-09-06T08:42:08","slug":"another-bike-ride","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.the500footbuddha.com\/?p=31","title":{"rendered":"Another Bike Ride"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I took a ride today without the kids.\u00a0 I just needed some time to myself.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t want to worry about loading all three bikes, or water bottles, or waiting till they got home from school.\u00a0 I just wanted to take a trip and get some stress out on the trail.<\/p>\n<p>It was raining off and on the whole time.\u00a0 I saw Jo riding back from Peninsula, because his company took a ride out there for lunch.\u00a0 Kind of like a business field trip.  I decided that I would ride out there as well.  That&#8217;s exactly what I did.<\/p>\n<p>I only stopped once and honestly when it was all done and said I was sore and tired.  That&#8217;s exactly how I wanted to feel.  I didn&#8217;t want to feel as though I could have given anymore to the trail.  I wanted to leave it all there.  I was pleased.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have a single picture, because without the kids I don&#8217;t have any real reason to stop.  I also don&#8217;t have them to take pictures of.  It&#8217;s just not the same experience at all without them.
