I got the blender back today. They actually sent me the whole thing, so I have a new glass container and a new blade. Pretty cool how that worked out. I went ahead and tested it out on a blackberry smoothie and it performed like a champ. Let’s hope this one lasts longer than the previous one.<\/p>\n
I also got my shoes, but they didn’t fit. Nike seems to make two kinds of running shoe and the one pinches my foot in the middle. I got directions to the Nike Outlet Store in Aurora and I went there after class. It was some drive. They didn’t have any shoes that I liked, which still seems a bit odd to me, but they let me return the shoes so I got my money back and headed over to Hibbett’s Sports off of Arlington.<\/p>\n
When I got there I tried on another pair of shoes that looked perfect, but had the same fit as the ones I returned, so I had to try on some other shoes. I settled on two pair. A pair of Nike shoes that are basically white, but with blue and black accents. I like them. The other pair is a trail rated pair of shoes from New Balance. They are darker and should be shoes I can wear when the weather sucks or I want to go for a bike ride or something. I needed at least one pair of shoes that isn’t white.<\/p>\n
